So first outfit for today. Or more so the nightley outfit:
The new Baby JSK that was unlucky enough to be my first Closet Child purchaise that got stuck in customs. The crochetted little pink flowers have a lovely country feeling. country lolita is something I have a big soft spot for.
So it being all Hallows Eve my hubby and I decided to take a walk in the graveyard between 1-2 AM.
All, the candles are so pretty. And I love graveyards they are so peaceful. Well we weren't the only ones who got that idea. I suddenly saw something small and pale and ghostly very quietly crawling behind the tombstones. But it wasn't a ghost, it was the friendly even though slightly timid neighborhood cat.
Eagerly waiting for Crème de la Garderobe tomorrow.

“Vain trifles as they seem, clothes have, they say, more important offices than to merely keep us warm. They change our view of the world and the world's view of us.”

Follow the white rabbit, oh wait I am the white rabbit
The post man brought me my new Baby Coat and IW skirt early (way too early) on a Tuesday morning.
So I had to take it out today, when I finally had the time. (All the time spent trying to curl my hair was obviously wasted...)
Hopefully hubby will find the coat huggable too, because "it's so fluffy I'm going to die" and I wan´t to hug it all the time.

IW doll family's Autumn walk
Antoinette, Cordelia and Delphine
Delphine riding the "witches broom"
Cordelia comtemplating the early sunset
Antoinette climbed a tree
There was an abandoned bird's nest.
And Delphine relaxed with a mushroom

Colour inspiration and angst.
Classic lolita was the style I originally fell in love with. The thing that's the problem for me is all the muted colours. (Same problem with mori style). I love to death the down to earth but elegant look on other people, but beige and muted pastels make me look like I have the jaundice...Ok wine read and navy and black look good on me. Brown is a colour that I would say I'm usually not for some reason comfortable in, but lately I've been craving deep chocolate brown.
I would also really want to have a pearl grey jumper skirt. Pearl grey is another colour I've really been craving lately. Kittymas (what a pagan me calls Christmas, because well that's who I rather hold a mas to.) for some reason always makes me crave tartan. Navy tartan is gorgeous, why don't I own any. My heart belongs to Mary Magdalene. Why don't I own any? Some day...If I were a rich girl.

Muffin scarf? With my lack of skills?
Ok I'm not a genious with crafts. But lately a a Twinkie Chan's book caught my eye in the bookstore. And I even took it home. Now after making this confession I have to make her muffin scarf my Kittymas holiday project.
As I remember I wasn't quite as hopeless at crocheting as I was with knitting....Knock on wood.
