A walk in the cook book outfit

On what turned out to be the first actually warm day, I had to wear black. I think this is a last time I'm going to be wearing black for awhile.

That IW skirt of mine always makes me so hungry...doghnuts, tea, icecream.

 Maybe I am a little anemic as I find a big rusty nail and my first instict is to pose with it like this..mmm iron.

Recital at my old ballet school

My old ballet teacher asked me to perform again in her schools spring recital. This was supposed to be Prelude from the ballet Les Syplhides:

I'm trying to get over my ick fat old cow can't do anything-feelings after wathing the video. (No I'm not saying this to fish for compliments, so please I'm just venting about how hard perfectionism is.) I wish I could clean up the hands even to what they were back in school. I miss dancing, but now teaching simply takes up my time.

Going to see a movie with hubby

Flowers have sprungeven in our backyard. So I thought I'd share an outfit pictures of yesterday.

Yay, it's almost a maze. I would love to get lost in one.

We went to see "Dangerous Method". A very interesting movie. The potrayal of relaionship between Jung and Freud was of particular interest to me. I just think Kiera Knightley was an unfortunate choice. She lacked the emotional complexity for the character.For those interested in the subject I do recomend the movie "Soul Keeper". I want a white edwardian style white blouse now...

Spring of murdered trees

So the nice weather lured me outside for a little bit.

 A piece of forest that has been very special to me has been cut down and even the earth turned upsidedown. Just on monday I was sad about birtches being cut down that I'm used to looking at from my kitchen window. I get attached to trees. I feel like I've lost people. My mind is refusing to accept that no I can not go frolic among spring flowers, not ever again. I hate men with chainsaws and bulldozers with their noise and this this..."progress". I wish I could have a good cry about this, but I just feel like something is strangling me.

Creme de la Garderobe

This weekend I was honored to have been asked to model in Creme de la Garderobes Fashion show.

This was my outfit. I wish I could have brought my cat Tättis along, mut she would have complained a whole lot and behaved all kinds of badly. But she looks a bit like one of the kittybugs. A closer look of my Babys lamp hat

Provides plenty of shade for my very light sensitive eyes. I'm so glad the season to wear strawhats and parasols is begining. I managed to hog quite a lot of strawhats last summer. Credit for the pictures goes to Kata.Thank you very much.

I finally managed to watch the new Jane Eyre film, but it was a bit of a dissapointment. I much more recomend the BBC series or the Zefferelli's movie.

Teaparty
